Fear of Failure/Procrastination

This last month has been a doozy for me, because I am about to completely change the model of my company, and in some ways, my life, which I have had since 1999! It brought about all kinds of fears and anxiety and, more importantly, the “idea” of “security”.

The problem is that there really isn’t such a thing anymore. We all know people that have lost everything through a divorce, a lie, a change in the market place – especially with electronics.

How many businesses have gone under because the technology become obsolete, almost overnight? No matter what your story is, or what kind of change you are wanting to make in your life right now,

I’m here to tell you to go for it!

There are two kinds of change – remember that. The kind you make on your own, or the kind that get forced on you by waiting too long. Your soul is screaming for change, but you just won’t budge.

Here are a few things to remember no matter which kind of change you fall under:

Change is a good thing!

We as humans are meant to evolve, not stagnate. The reason people have a midlife crisis is that they feel stuck.

You are never stuck! You just need to make a change –even if it’s in the same field. You don’t have to quit your job to make a change inside of it. You may not even need to be promoted.

Maybe your change is simply that you make a lateral move into something much more fulfilling in your current workplace.

Change can happen slowly.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s a good idea to start working on your new idea slowly while you stay put, because if you cannot stomach too much change at once, you may find yourself with SSM Syndome (self sabotage mechanisms that you subliminally create in order to fail, because you don’t think you will succeed).

Changing slowly gives you a boost of confidence in your idea and your success!

Change can happen in an instant!

What? You know what I mean.

There are companies that go under or downsize and leave thousands unemployed overnight. Divorce happens and is not usually mutual.

I’ve known many women that were stay at home moms to get divorced. Having been out of the workforce for so long, they had no idea what they would do.

But given the circumstances that they had, change was created and they became more successful and fulfilled than they knew was possible. Sometimes a catalyst is needed to create the idea that has been burning inside of you for years.

Change is inevitable.

As kids, we never want to grow up, and as parents, we often say we don’t want our kids to grow up. But we did, and they did, and it doesn’t ever stop.

The nature of humans is to evolve until we leave this planet. The more you evolve and grow, the greater your experience and true happiness will be.

Change is necessary.

If change never took place, where would we be? Bored, unfulfilled, never creating and never growing and evolving as a planet.

Creating a product, a service, or a message, or better ways to heal the body and the planet, is the driving force of all of mankind, and the reason we have the technology today, not to mention our global communication reality due to the internet itself.

Be a part of the change. Don’t hold back your dreams, ideas, or your message. Don’t wait for the catalyst. Be the catalyst of your own life and your own change.
